Stop Motion

Stop Motion is a film-making technique that brings inanimate objects to life.
Mutliple pictures are taken of static objects that are manipulated by hand in each shot. The pictures are then sped up to make the inanimate objects appear to move.

We used the Jelly Cam app to make our movies. We took pictures with web cams attached to our laptops and the pictures were then added to our Jelly Cam app and edited. The process was very easy. Our pupils loved making these short films, as the final results were often very comical. However, it was also a way for them to add a visual dimension to the stories they studied or wrote themselves in school.
